The Netherlands - Pension funds have continued to recover over the last few months, with rising share prices meaning their reserves have further increased in value. The ABP pension fund for government workers now has reserves of 98 percent compared to just 90 percent at the end of 2008.

The pension fund reserves for health care workers has reached 100 percent.

Fund reserves are required to be at 105 percent to guarantee that pensions are safe; so there is still some way to go. However, they are considerably healthier than at the low point of the economic crisis.
