AMSTERDAM — None of the 500 urology patients of the Martini Hospital in Groningen were infected with the HIV virus or Hepatitis B or C after being treated with dirty equipment earlier this year, test results have confirmed.

At the end of February, the Groningen hospital recalled the patients to undergo blood tests because the cystoscopes used to examine them internally had not been fully disinfected.
