Orange under-17 tie in Mexico
The Dutch under-17 football team tied their second match in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico Tuesday night. Under Coach Albert Stuivenberg, they held fast with North Korea 1-1.
Shortly after halftime at the Morelos Stadium in Morelia, the Orange defence fell weak. Danzell Gravenberch scored the equalizer with just 15 minutes left in the game. A promising goal from striker Anass Achbar was ruled offside.
The Dutch team lost their first game against Congo 1-0. Friday they will take on Mexico. Orange needs to win that match to have a chance of moving forward to the next round.
