Instead, the Dutch government is considering including young criminals from Dutch Antilles and Aruba into an alarm system for juveniles in the Netherlands.

THE HAGUE – The Integration Minister Eberhard van der Laan and Deputy Minister for Kingdom Relations Ank Bijleveld are likely to scrap the idea of having a separate databank for young people from the Dutch Antilles and Aruba involved in crime in the Netherlands.

The government is now considering including this group in an alarm system for all young people in the Netherlands who are likely to get involved in criminal activities.

The cabinet will discuss the details of the system on Friday.
