Nijmegen's city theatre director quits over fake CV

Albert Krielen’s previous false job experiences include being a KLM pilot, Rotterdam’s city councillor and Philips senior executive in Japan.

NIJMEGEN – The director of Nijmegen's city theatre has resigned after a local newspaper revealed most of his employment history is not true.
Investigation by regional newspaper De Gelderlander showed that Albert Krielen gave false information about previous jobs he claimed to have held in his CV.

Krielen claimed to have been a pilot for KLM, a city councillor in Rotterdam and a senior executive for Philips in Japan are all lies.

Krielen who worked in Nijmegen as head of the local theatre since 2002 received an annual salary of EUR 200,000 for three days' work a week. He was recommended for the job by headhunting group GITP.
