Nijmegen International Four-Day Marches: Day 3

22nd July 2010, Comments 0 comments

On the third day of the Nijmegen four-day walking event a total of 843 dropped out, according to the organisers.

The walkers trekked through the hilly landscape east of the town of Nijmegen. Hilly by Dutch standards, that is.

A total of 3,231 have dropped out of the marches so far, out of the 39,933 hardy souls who started the event early on Tuesday morning.

The Red Cross had a quiet day, although 650 walkers came to them to get their blisters treated. Four walkers had to be hospitalised.
