New Masters on Tour is more than an inspiring international concert series, it is also a tour of discovery of future celebrities.

The International Holland Music Sessions (TIHMS) presents :
New Masters on Tour 2008 - 2009 in Het Concertgebouw, Amsterdam and at the Theater Odeon, van der Reijdzaal, Zwolle.

The career of the Latvian pianist Vestard Shimkus took off after his performance in impressive concerts with the conductor Eri Klas and the KREMERata Baltica. His rendition of Beethoven is one of classical beauty, his exuberance when playing Liszt is enthralling and Vestard Shimkus has a stunningly original approach when playing Astor Piazzolla.

Photographer Armelle KhourdoianThe French violinist Saténik Khourdoian, winner of the Aram Chatsjatoerjan violin competition in 2005, demonstrates intense musicality and passion when performing the works by the Schumann couple and the spectacular Carmen Fantasy by the famous Spanish violinist Pablo de Sarasate. Saténik Khourdoian is accompanied by the Armenian pianist Varduhi Yeritsyan.
