Nearly 2,350 Dutch imprisoned abroad

About 2,350 Dutch citizens are locked up abroad. Over 70 percent of these prisoners are imprisoned for drug offenses. 

According to a report from Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal, 2,343 Dutch people, mostly men have been jailed since April of this year. Most are behind bars in Europe.
