Most passengers stranded at Schiphol to board plane on Sunday
A spokesperson for Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport says that most of the passengers stranded on there Saturday will be able to board a flight on Sunday.
On Saturday, a large number of flights were either cancelled or delayed as the result of heavy snowfall and a strike of Spanish air traffic controllers. Between 500 and 1,000 passengers were forced to spend the night at Schiphol airport. Another 2,000 passengers were put up in hotels near the airport.
