"More chances for older job seekers"
The government should give older job applicants the same opportunities as younger candidates.

AMSTERDAM – The government should give older job applicants the same opportunities as younger candidates. A majority of Parliament is of this opinion, the AD writes.
The effective age ceiling of 45 at the police, for instance, must be scrapped. VVD MP Stef Blok will propose this Tuesday in Parliament and can count on support from Christian Democrat CDA and Labour PvdA.
The proposal is part of an action plan to help get more older people into employment.
