The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute KNMI predicts a prolonged drought in the month of June after an extremely dry spring.

A spokesperson said there would be some precipitation, but not nearly enough to “provide some relief.” it would require two weeks of continuous rainfall to bring water levels back to normal. “We are short nearly an entire season, because obviously it does not rain every day.”
