KLM goes into space
A spokesperson for French-Dutch airline Air France-KLM has confirmed media reports that the company is backing plans by Space Experience Curaçao to offer space trips from the Dutch Caribbean island in three years.
The first flights are to be made from a cosmodrome in Curaçao which is scheduled for completion in 2014. KLM has signed up for the first space flights over the island. The airline says it would like to handle the promotion and sale of the tickets, which will cost 70,000 euros.
