ROTTERDAM  - The 32nd edition of North Sea Jazz will be starting up today at Rotterdam Central Station. Between 3 and 5 pm today the Jazzinvaders will be performing in the atrium of the station. Train travellers will be treated to acoustic performances between 2 and 5 pm on Friday and Saturday.

The public transport timetable will be adapted to accommodate the event, the Dutch Railways (NS) announced on Wednesday. The metro will continue to service the Zuidplein stop (near Ahoy) well into the night: every 10 minutes until 3.30 am. Extra carriages will be added to the night-trains operating on 13, 14, and 15 July as well.
