‘InterNations The Hague Sociable: Meet Anabela!'

16th May 2011, Comments 0 comments

Portuguese Globetrotter Anabela Atanásio Alves has been appointed as the new InterNations Ambassador for The Hague!

Anabela Alves has been living abroad for many years. She visited no less than 228 cities in 38 countries! With Anabela's legal background - human rights and international criminal law - one could easily imagine that The Hague, City of Peace and Justice, feels like home to Anabela and her one year old puppy Lupo; almost a diplomat itself, always ready to meet new people too!

For those who'd like to take the opportunity to say ‘hi' to Anabela and meet other expatriates; the next InterNations' event in The Hague - ‘InterNations The Hague Sociable: Meet Anabela!' - will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Café Restaurant Gember, Stadhouderslaan 41, The Hague. The gettogether starts around 08:00 p.m. (till 01:30 a.m. max).

Admission costs EUR 7 and includes the cocktail ‘Anabela' (Rosé port, watermelon, pepper), finger food and a lovely smile from the new Ambassador!

Live the InterNations spirit - Nobody stands alone! For many guests, it'll be the first InterNations event; quite a few arrive on their own. Please be open to making them feel welcome. If you see someone standing alone, it'd be great if you introduced them to your friends. We can thus share the spirit of connecting global minds, and every member will have a lovely time.
