THE HAGUE – Several hundred people protested at the Chinese embassy in The Hague on Sunday against China's actions in Tibet. One of the demonstrators climbed over the embassy's gate, lowered the Chinese flag and hung the Tibetan flag on the mast. Embassy personnel removed the Tibetan flag.

The demonstrators proclaimed their solidarity with Tibet. Various speakers expressed condemnation of the Chinese action. The riot police intervened when a number of protestors pulled down a fence.

There were no other disturbances however. The demonstration was organised by the International Campaign for Tibet Europe, the Netherlands' Tibet Support Group and the Tibetan Community of the Netherlands.

Almost 400 protestors demonstrated near the Palace of Justice in Brussels on Sunday. They declared their sympathy for the Tibetan people and condemned the Chinese.

Excuse me. Something VERY serious happened here: just a few of demonstrators managed to enter the Chinese embassy, lower the flag and brake down the wall and the gate!!!!
The seriousness of this is demonstrated by that all the Dutch media were silent about this fact (of course this would undermine their credibility to host and protect foreign authorities)!!!
Amazing!! and I thought I was living in a liberal country!!¨
Anyway....W Freedom to the Tibetan culture!!!...and....W Freedom to the dutch press!! :-((
Go on you tube if you want to really see what the Dutch news have hidden from you!!
