ROTTERDAM - Rotterdam police have rounded up a gang that is guilty of large scale human trafficking and the forgery of identity papers.

Six suspects will stand trial for fraud. Another five have been arrested for human trafficking.

52-year-old chief suspect, a Surinamese resident of Rotterdam, is allegedly guilty of both crimes. Police and justice officials said this on Tuesday.

The investigation into the gang started in September 2006 when a 14-year-old Zeeland girl reported that a pimp had tried to force her into prostitution. The man was also a part of this gang operating out of Rotterdam.
