AMSTERDAM — The makers of a television show are looking for Australians, aged 18-26, to take part in a show which claims to be the "definitive guide to the underbelly of our world's cities and the hottest young Aussies".

Filming for the lifestyle show ABOUT will take place in Amsterdam in early September.

Sydney-based producer Michael Mastrodimos is looking for two strong stories about Australian expats in Amsterdam as part of the new series of ABOUT which will be screened in January 2005. The series will also look at Australians in Athens, Berlin and Hong Kong.

Fronted by presenters, Amy Erbacher and Alex Bruszt of the Australian Fox 8 channel, the show intends to highlight "the most innovative and creative up-and-coming movers and shakers in Australia and around the world".

"ABOUT is the definitive guide to the underbelly of our world's cities and hottest young Aussies," says Mastrodimos.

"The subjects of the show are highly creative individuals who live and work outside the suburban square.

"The show is inspirational, fast paced and always fun, speaking directly to it's target market, 18-26 year olds who are smart, informed and always looking for the next hot thing!"

Based in Sydney, the series covers the globe's urban and alternative scene with a sexy style, "up front" attitude and with lots of warmth and honesty, he says.

Australians who wish to volunteer for the programme, should contact Mastrodimos at michael@demonangel.com.au.

Others who are older, but are tuned in to activities of the target group, are welcome to make contact as well.
