AMSTERDAM – On Thursday afternoon, while being tried in court, Willem Holleeder felt ill. As a result, his lawyer, Jan-Hein Kuijpers, asked for a doctor to be called.
“My client is feeling dizzy”, said Kuijpers.

The presiding judge, Rino Verpalen, asked Holleeder how he was. The suspect indicated that he could go on. According to the court, there is someone present in the high-security court in Amsterdam-Osdorp who can treat Holleeder, should the need arise. So the case can go on for now.
