THE HAGUE – Modern speed dating takes off to a higher level. On 15 November fifty singles can get to know each other better on board a plane. During the trip from Amsterdam to Vienna the women are staying in their seats while the men will change seats every five minutes.

According to airline SkyEurope, the organiser of the event, it is the first time that speed dating is taking place on an aircraft. The airline company has organised the so-called SkyDate to Vienna in conjunction with dating site Lexa.

After the flight the participants will have a day and a night to search for a possible new flame before they will return to Schiphol Airport.
