In the Dutch premier league championship, Heracles Almelo won a 4-1 victory in a home game against NAC Breda.

Just two minutes into the match, Samuel Armenteros put Heracles in the lead, followed six minutes later by a goal by Mark-Jan Fledderus. Willie Overtoom put a third penalty into the net, sealing Heracles’ lead. The half time score stayed at 3-0.

The second half had less action to start with. With ten minutes to go, substitute Glynor Plet kicked in a fourth goal for his home team. Kees Luijckx scored NAC Breda’s only goal in the match soon afterwards. Heracles rose to 12th place in the premier league, while NAC gathered one point and is at 11th place.

Limburg fans went home disappointed this evening as Roda JC saw their string of lucky wins broken on home ground in Parkstad Limburg Stadium by NEC Nijmegen.

After five minutes into the second half, Djoum scored the first goal of the match, putting Roda JC in the lead. Twenty-three minutes later, NEC’s Bjorn Vleminckx kicked in the equaliser, his eighth goal of the season. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
