Harlem Jazz Night in The Hague

Feet were tapping, heads were nodding and bodies swinging as Michael Varekamp and his quintet set the stage alight at the Harlem Jazz Night in The Hague on 26 February 2003. An assorted bunch of expats thoroughly enjoyed the exclusive performance, great atmosphere and fantastic vocals of guest singer Deborah Carter.

The brand new Pannonica Jazz club provided the perfect backdrop to the evening and despite being a mid week event, both the band and audience lost track of time as they jammed away until early hours of the morning.

Here are some pictures of the night's fun.

Details of the new series of Expat nights are posted on www.expatica.com/night
