GOUDA -- Gouda town council is going to install cameras in buses that drive through the Oosterwei district, following discussions between the council and the Connexxion bus company about threats to bus drivers from young people.

On Saturday, bus drivers in Gouda said they refused to put up with threats from young people and intended to stop driving through the Oosterwei district.

Connexxion will discuss the council's proposal with bus drivers and see if they will change their minds about driving through the Oosterwei district.
