While Ajax and PSV continue on top, Feyenoord has dropped to eighth place.

PSV beat NEC 3-1 at home while Ajax, also playing home, scored a 2-0 victory over bottom-of-the-league Willem II. After five matches, Ajax and PSV now each have thirteen points.

Feyenoord dropped to eighth place after losing 2-0 to NAC in an away game. Robbert Schilder scored both goals in the fixture's final phase. This was Feyenoord's second defeat of the season. The last time the Rotterdam team won an away match was on 7 March, when it played Roda JC.

Elsewhere, FC Groningen defeated FC Utrecht 1-0 in a home game thanks to a goal by Andreas Granqvist five minutes before the end. De Graafschap secured its fourth point by drawing 2-2 in an away fixture with ADO Den Haag.

Playing against Heerenveen in Friesland, Vitesse was leading 1-0 thanks to a goal by Davy Propper when, in the very last minutes, a penalty by Roy Beerens and a goal by Oussama Assaidi turned the tables.

PSV, Ajax and Twente now lead the Premier League, with Feyenoord on eighth place. Vitesse and Willem II are at the bottom of the league.
