Fines for tardy economics teachers

The Department of Economics at the University of Tilburg intends to fine lecturers who take too long marking exams.

TILBURG - If a student does not receive the results of an exam within the agreed 15 days, a fine of 2,500 euros will be levied. 

However, the lecturers will not have to pay the fines out of their own pockets: the invoice will be sent to the department where they work.
