THE NETHERLANDS - In the new season of the Dutch Premier League, the number of Super Sundays will be reduced from six to two.

Super Sundays are ones that feature more than one important match. The Royal Dutch Football Union took the measure at the request of the clubs.

The new season starts on 30 August, somewhat later than normal, owing to the Dutch Olympic team's participation in the Beijing summer games.
