The ‘Feel at Home in The Hague’ Fair is nominated for the “Den Haag Marketing Promotieprijs” in the category Tourism & Economy.

On Sunday, 21 September, TheHagueOnline.com held their 3rd annual ‘Feel at Home in The Hague’ Fair, welcoming international newcomers to their new home. In one day, visitors were given the opportunity to meet with more than 190 exhibitors offering alternatives for the free and leisure time of the international community. Representatives of local and international groups were available to answer questions, provide advice, and make everyone feel at home.

The Promotieprijs jury picked the fair and 11 other individuals and organisations from nominations sent in by the public. The public can vote on the jury’s choice online or at City Hall or the VVV on the Hofweg until 8 March 2009. On Tuesday, 10 March, a sculpture by artist Loek Bos will be awarded to the individual, company or organisation which the jury feels has done the most to put The Hague on the map.
