29-year old Frederick Elgershuizen of The Hague has inherited the lion's share of the fortune of British multi-millionaire Bernard Matthews.

Elgershuizen gets 38 of the 39 percent of shares Matthews owned in his poultry company Bernard Matthews Farms Limited. British newspaper estimates the value at around 45 million euros.

Frederick is the result of an extra-marital affair. Although Matthews never divorced his wife Joyce, he spent seven years in the 1980s living together with Dutch woman Conny Elgershuizen. She moved back to the Netherlands and Frederick now lives in The Hague where he works as an internet entrepreneur.

Bernard Matthews, a national celebrity in the UK after appearing in his own TV commercials, had two adopted daughters and one adopted son but no other biological children.
