Dutch women new European hockey champions

The Dutch women's hockey team has won the EuroHockey Nations Championship

Amstelveen - The Dutch women's hockey team has won the EuroHockey Nations Championship in the Dutch city of Amstelveen. In the Saturday final, they beat defending champions Germany 3-2.

Marilyn Agliotti scored the winning goal, her second in the match, six minutes before the final whistle. The other goal was scored by Lidewij Welten.

Maike Stöckel and Nina Hasselmann scored for Germany.
