At least four Dutch tourists, two Belgians and two Peruvians have been killed in a road traffic accident in Peru. The tourists were travelling in a bus which was involved in a head-on collision with a lorry.

There were 33 people on the bus. Reports say over 25 people were injured in the accident and have been taken to hospital. The collision is thought to have been caused by a second bus attempting to overtake. The drivers of both the bus and lorry were killed.

The crash happened in the south of Peru near the border with Bolivia in the vicinity of Lake Titicaca, a popular tourist attraction.
