THE NETHERLANDS -- A team of specialists from the Netherlands will be sent to Georgia to investigate the death of Dutch news cameraman Stan Storimans.

Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen says his requests to the Georgian and Russian authorities for more information have not provided any clarification of the circumstances surrounding the death.

Tbilisi has said it will provide support for the investigation team when it arrives. The team, led by former Dutch diplomat Jacobovits De Szeged, will start investigation next week.

Storimans, who was covering the conflict in Georgia for a Dutch media company, died on 12 Aug during a Russian bombing raid on the Georgian city of Gori.

Human Rights Watch says its investigation shows that the cameraman died from injuries caused by a Russian cluster bomb, an allegation Moscow has denied.
