Dutch tennis team out of the Davis Cup

Argentina has knocked the Netherlands out of the Davis Cup tennis tournament being held in Buenos Aires.

BUENOS AIRES - The Dutch doubles team, Jesse Huta Galung and Rogier Wassen, lost in three sets on Saturday to Lucas Arnold Ker and Martin Vassallo Argüello, 6-4, 7-5, 6-3.

The Netherlands was already trailing Argentina 2-0 after two singles matches played earlier.

On a scorching clay court, Juan Ignacio Chela beat Jesse Huta Galun in five sets, while Thiemo de Bakker lost to Juan Monaco in three sets.
On Sunday, two more singles matches are being played but, down 3-0, the Netherlands is already out of the tournament.

The Dutch team returned to the Davis Cup world group after defeating South Korea in a qualifying match.
