DELFT -- Four teenagers were admitted to a hospital in Delft over the weekend because they had drunk enormous amounts of alcohol.

The youngsters, between 15 and 16, had blood alcohol levels of around 2.7. It is an offence to drive at levels of 0.5 and above.

In the hospital, the teenagers had their stomachs pumped in order to reduce the amount of alcohol in their bodies. They have now been discharged and are recovering at home.
