Dutch team arrives in Switzerland

SWITZERLAND - The Dutch national team has arrived in Switzerland where the first European Football Championship matches will be played on Saturday.

The squad, led by coach Marco van Basten, will begin training on Wednesday. The Netherlands will play its first match on Monday against Italy.

Dutch troops stationed in the Afghan province of Uruzgan will be able to listen to the championships via a special radio station set up by the Dutch public broadcaster Radio 1 together with Radio Netherlands Worldwide.
