Dutch princess celebrates fourth birthday
Princess Ariane of the Netherlands, the youngest of Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima’s three daughters, is four today.
Ariane, who is fourth in line to the Dutch throne, is celebrating her birthday with her parents and her sisters, Amalia and Alexia, at the family home on the Eikenhorst estate in Wassenaar north of The Hague.
She will no doubt be receiving presents to equip her for her first day at a primary school in Wassenaar on Monday. Her two sisters are at the same school. She has apparently been straining at the leash to be allowed to go to school.
Her mother, Princess Máxima, describes Ariane as having “enormous will power”. The little princess is also reported to be a chatterbox.
Immediately following her first day at school, Princess Ariane will have to do without her parents for a few days. They will away from Tuesday till Friday, accompanying Queen Beatrix on a state visit to Germany.http://cdn.radionetherlands.nl/data/files/110910-fruitcorso-prinsesje.jpg
