Dutch pension funds exceed OECD average

1st August 2011, Comments 0 comments

Dutch pension funds last year yielded six percent, well above the average return of 3.8 percent obtained by pension funds across the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development, according to new OECD figures.

The pension funds with the best results were those in New Zealand and Chile with yields of around ten percent.

Dutch pension funds tend to invest a relatively small part of their capital in shares, and most of it in bonds, which are less risky as an investment.
