Dutch paedophile webmaster jailed
A 37-year-old man from Krommenie, a small town on the coast north of Amsterdam, has been sentenced by a Dutch court to three years’ imprisonment, with half of the sentence suspended. He acted as the service provider for the largest international internet paedophile network ever discovered.
The man known only as Amir I to protect his privacy was found guilty of abuse of a 14-year-old street boy in Brazil and possession of child pornography. He will also serve a probationary period of seven years and will have to undergo psychiatric treatment.
He ran the website, boylover.net, which he described during the trial as a meeting place for paedophiles. He denied that it was a site for the distribution of child pornography. He claimed that the website had been gradually taken over by others and that he eventually had no control over it.http://cdn.radionetherlands.nl/data/files/shady-keyboard_1.jpg
