Dutch civil servant embezzled 2.7 million euros
Between 2004 and 2008, the man transferred the money to his own limited companies.

THE NETHERLANDS – The Dutch council of Winterswijk has revealed that one of its civil servants has embezzled 2.7 million euros of council funds.
He used the money to buy houses, cars and other luxury goods.
He was also the owner of a lingerie shop, a music shop and ran, together with a colleague, two bakeries.
The fraud came to light in September.
