Dutch bus drivers on strike again
Strikes continue on Thursday as talks between trade unions and employers come to a standstill.

THE NETHERLANDS - The bus strikes outside the major cities are to continue. Talks between the trade unions and employers have stalled and no agreement has been made for further discussions.
The unions would like to hold informal negotiations about a collective labour agreement but the bus companies have said that they are not interested and that their latest offer was their final offer.
Strikes will therefore continue on Thursday as planned, with no buses outside the rush hour and no tickets taken or passes checked by drivers.
Actions are also planned for next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
