Figures from the report show that the budget deficit over 2011 will decrease to 3.9 percent. The report will be released on Budget Day, which in the Netherlands is on the third Tuesday in September.

The Macro Economic Studies are predictions about the state of the economy made by cabinet financial experts. Their report was leaked to one of the Dutch commercial television channels. Sources in The Hague have confirmed the authenticity of the leaked figures.
