Most Dutch gamblers believe that Daniel Day-Lewis will be honoured with an Oscar on Sunday for his role in There Will Be Blood.

LONDON – Most Dutch gamblers believe that Daniel Day-Lewis will be honoured with an Oscar on Sunday for his role in There Will Be Blood. 96 percent say that he is bound to win, according to figures from online betting office Unibet on Thursday.

37.5 percent of the Dutch gamblers say that There Will Be Blood will win the Oscar for best film, more however believe that No Country For Old Men will take this honour. 40 percent say Joel and Ethan Coen, makers of No Country For Old Men, will get the Oscar for best director(s).

60 percent believe Julie Christie will be awarded best actress for her role in Away From Her. And 75 percent are certain that Ratatouille will win for best animation film.

The Oscars will be presented in Los Angeles on Sunday night (local time) and broadcast live in the Netherlands on digital premium channel Film1.
