Dutch banks pass EBA test
Three major Dutch banks have passed the European Banking Authority's capital test.
ING Bank, ABN Amro and the Rabobank all successfully passed the EBA test, which was applied to 71 European banks.
The EBA test whiles conducted to make sure that European financial institutions are credit worthy enough to withstand economic shocks.
The European banking watchdog says that other European banks needed total of €114.7 billion of capital in order to achieve a Core Tier 1 capital ratio of 9%.
