The Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the Dutch ambassador in Iran on Sunday. The Dutch foreign ministry says ambassador was told how Iran deals with drugs criminals and why a second trial against Ms Bahrami was not held.

Dutch Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal summoned the Iranian ambassador in The Hague on Saturday, following the execution of Dutch-Iranian woman Zahra Bahrami. The Hague also froze all relations between the two countries.

Ms Bahrami was arrested in December 2009 after taking part in an anti-government demonstration. The drugs allegations were made later.
