Dutch Railways announced on Saturday that it is to sell building company Strukton for around 168 million euros. The purchaser is engineering firm Oranjewoud, which specialises in large infrastructure projects.

Strukton, which employs around 6000 people, will continue to operate as an independent company, and all the parties involved in the sale have agreed that there will be no redundancies. In 2009, it had a turnover of 1.4 billion euros.
