The Israeli newspaper reports the man, 27-year-old Shvuel Schijveschuurder, lost both his parents and three brothers and sisters in a terrorist attack in Jerusalem in 2001. They were in a restaurant when a bomb exploded.
Mr Schijveschuurders’ act was in protest against the release of more than 1000 Palestinians from prison in exchange for the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. The bombers that killed his family are on the list of prisoners to be released. He also criticised the Shalit family's campaign for thier son's release.
