The Netherlands' gross domestic product grew 0.9 percent in the second quarter, compared to the first three months of 2010, preliminary data from the CBS statistics agency on Friday indicated.
On a year-on-year basis, Dutch GDP was up 2.1 percent.
Exports grew 12 percent from a year earlier, but investment declined by five percent, the agency said in a statement. Household spending meanwhile rose 0.7 percent from the second quarter of 2009.
Employment rose 0.2 percent from the first quarter on a seasonally adjusted basis, the first such increase after five straight quarters of declines.
