18 July 2007, UTRECHT – A 17-year-old boy was killed last night after being dragged under a train on the Eykmanlaan in Utrecht.

UTRECHT – A 17-year-old boy was killed last night after being dragged under a train on the Eykmanlaan in Utrecht.

The boy and a friend were racing to see who dared to cross the tracks at the last moment before a train passed.

One boy rode across the tracks on scooter and made it to the other side unharmed. The 17-year-old crossed on foot and was hit and dragged under the train. He died on the site.
