Thirty-four people were detained during a large-scale police operation in the town of Almere.

They were arrested for various offences, including driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drugs, and carrying guns.

Two hundred and fifty people took part in the operation, including local and border police, public transport inspectors and tax inspectors.

Police impounded twenty cars and tax inspectors collected EUR 84,000 in unpaid tax.
