AMSTERDAM – People travelling by train between Utrecht and The Hague and between Utrecht and Rotterdam should count on delays of up to an hour this morning.

A switch near Woerden was found to be defective last night, which means fewer trains can use the tracks.

Railway infrastructure manager ProRail expects delays between 30 and 60 minutes to continue well into the morning.
