When it comes to connecting the Netherlands with the United Kingdom and beyond, British Airways remains the number one option for expats.

Flying up to up to 15 times a day from Amsterdam, British Airways is the only airline to serve London Heathrow, London Gatwick and London City airports from the Netherlands. Transferring onto the extensive global BA network is simple from BA’s new state of the art hub at London Heathrow Terminal 5, . With connections to over 150 worldwide destinations, including one of the best North American networks in the industry, British Airways offers outstanding travel opportunities for every traveller.

With over 92 percent of flights using the new Terminal 5, connections are easy and the experience on the ground is one to be enjoyed. Take advantage of the many shopping opportunities on offer with well-known British names such as Harrods and Paul Smith amongst others. Enjoy unprecedented levels of airport dining in one of the many Terminal 5 facilities including the world’s first Gordon Ramsay ‘Plane Food’ restaurant. Alternatively, make use of the British Airways Galleries lounge complex, the world’s largest, where you will find space to eat, work or to enjoy one of the many treatments on offer from the in-house Elemis spa.

BA’s second hub, London Gatwick is not only an ideal option for travelling into central London; it also offers connections to many leisure destinations in the Caribbean as well as Florida and the Maldives. Fly with BA through Gatwick and start your holiday from the moment you board the aircraft in Amsterdam.

Business in the City? British Airways is now flying the new generation Embraer 170 aircraft between Amsterdam and the heart of London’s business district, London City Airport. This greener, quieter and more spacious aircraft offers fast and frequent travel opportunities from the Netherlands into London.

For expats travelling regularly, the BA Executive Club offers excellent opportunities to collect and redeem miles for free flights and more. Build up your tier points to earn Silver or Gold status and enjoy lounge access for you and a guest each time you fly amongst many other benefits. Right now, BA is delighted to offer any BMI Diamond Club Silver or Gold cardholders a card match for the BA Executive Club. Please see for more details.

This is misleading advertising. The wording makes it seem that no other airlines fly to London. KLM goes to two of the named airports (Heathrow and City), EasyJet goes to Gatwick and Stanstead, BMI to Heathrow. BA is overpriced (like KLM) and has surly service. I guess Expatica has to pay the bills somehow...

No, I think easyJet is more popular...
