Bob de Jong wins five kilometre speed skating World Cup

Bob de Jong has won the five kilometre race at the speed skating World Cup competition in the northern Dutch city of Heerenveen. The Dutchman beat Russian Ivan Skobrev at the Thialf ice rink. Wouter Olde Heuvel ended in third place.

At last week's Dutch national championships Bob de Vries was the fastest in the 5000 metre. This time he came in fifth.
